Eine Skulptur aus arktischem Marmor, eine Stimme, die über einen Lofoten-See ruft und verwandelt zurückkehrt, tägliche Zeichnungen, die in einer Zeit der Isolation das Verstreichen der Zeit und die eigene Anwesenheit bezeugen, eine Tulpe zwischen Vergehen und Auferstehung: All diese Werke verbindet die Frage nach Berührung und Zeit. Eine Hand auf dem Stein. Der Pinsel auf dem Blütenblatt. Die Stimme, die jede*n Zuhörer*in erreicht. Die Arbeiten treffen auf einen Raum, der es seit langem gewohnt ist, Stimmen zu vernehmen, die sich an das richten, was sich dem Blick entzieht.

The Norwegian artist A K Dolven presents works in St. Matthäus Church that allow geological, historical, and personal time to flow into one another. An invitation to encounter oneself within a temporal fabric that extends far beyond us. A sculpture carved from Arctic marble, a voice calling across a lake in the Lofoten Islands and returning transformed, daily drawings that bear witness to the passage of time and to one’s own presence during a period of isolation, a tulip poised between decay and resurrection: all of these works are connected by a shared inquiry into touch and time. A hand resting on stone. A brush upon a petal. A voice reaching every listener. These works meet a space long accustomed to receiving voices addressed to that which eludes the eye.
